Car Top Carrier Accessories

Waterproof Liner:  Fits inside any rooftop cargo carrier  like one grocery sack into another.  Tough nylon material, sealed seams provides the perfect water barrier.  Protects your gear from any water.  Our carriers and liners combine to become the most waterproof car top carrier on the market, bar none! Why a liner?  Our carriers are made of tough waterproof material, with closure systems designed to keep water out.  For strength, there are double stitched seams.  Depending on how fast you drive, how hard it's raining, and how long the exposure, some water may seep in through stitched seams.   Should this occur, the liner protects your gear, everything stays dry.  The liner takes up virtually no space and closes easily with a draw string.

Frame System: Note the frame is only available for the Classic carrier.  The car top carrier frame system is a strong and light weight pvc structure that fits snugly inside the Classic.  It gives the carrier shape holding the opening wide for easy loading and organizing of your gear.  Now a car top bag has the easy loading features like a much more expensive rooftop box.  Yet the frame disassembles and folds down like the car top bag for easy storage. With a frame installed, a car top carrier has taunt sides which prevents flapping adding longevity to the material.  Also many comment the carrier simply looks better with a firm square shape on your car.  The Classic car top carrier and the frame cost hundreds less than most rooftop boxes and doesn't require the cross bars on your vehicle to mount it.  This system attaches to any vehicle with or without a luggage rack.  Read about the StrapRight straps.

Locking System: Use with any of our CTCs.  Protect your gear at gas and restaurant stops. Run the adjustable steel cable through any CTC closure loops, handles, or "D" ring then around your luggage rack. Helps keep CTCs closed and attached to your car.  This is cheap security. NEW upgraded lock. Thicker 36" cable, 3 digit combination that you choose.  Also, use with skis, tool boxes, other vacation luggage and more.   Use one or two for extra security.

Car clips: Buy these to install OUR CTCs on a hard top vehicle without a luggage rack. Shaped like the letter "J" they are one inch wide, rubber coated steel.  There is a slot on each clip for the strapping system to pass through.   The curved part slips over any sturdy ledge inside the door frame or on a rain gutter.  There are two clips for each side of the vehicle and they need to be spaced 20" apart (4 total clips per set).  When you tighten the straps, they pull the CTC down and the clips up, holding the load in place.  You should limit the weight on your car roof to 100 lbs or less.  

Protection Pad:  Place this between your vehicle roof and any car top carrier to protect the finish of your roof.  Padded, nonskid protection.  Can also be used inside the CTC to help protect your gear.  Use on cars with or without a luggage rack. 36"x35"x1/8"  Woven polyester fabric coated with a high-grade vinyl compound.  If you have suitcases with steel feet, wheels, or hard items, this pad can help protect the roof of your car.
